Officials from Vanadzor Municipality Arrested by Anti-Corruption Committee

Around ten employees from the Vanadzor Municipality have been detained. Auroranews.am contacted the Anti-Corruption Committee for more details regarding the incident. In response, the committee stated, “We inform you that, as part of an initiated investigation on charges of receiving and giving bribes, abusing official powers in a group, and fraud, 10 individuals have been arrested. Among them, 7 are current and former officials of the Vanadzor Municipality. Due to the interests of the investigation, we cannot provide further details.”
