Iran Rejects US Proposal
The member of Iran's Parliament National Security Commission, Yakub Rezazadeh, stated that possible negotiations with the United States are not currently on the table. He emphasized that such a step would be viewed as 'betrayal' in the current situation.
The representative noted that Iran has not accepted Washington's proposal for a ceasefire. He highlighted that recent events, during which, according to his remarks, Iranian high-ranking leaders and commanders have lost their lives, have influenced the country’s stance.
According to Rezazadeh's statement, the theme of negotiations cannot be considered as a priority issue at this time. He reiterated that the Iranian authorities continue to maintain a hardline position.
It has been reported that the US proposal regarding a ceasefire has not been accepted by Tehran.
