I Am Not Saying That Artsakh Residents Have Fled, I Am Saying That the Elite of Karabakh Have Fled – Nikol Pashinyan
Following the events in Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023, the outcomes of military actions have been analyzed. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press briefing with journalists.
"Claims about fighting and other related matters do not correspond with reality. According to intelligence data, the majority of available weapons and ammunition remain untouched," said Pashinyan, continuing, "A regime change took place in Karabakh, and they congratulated each other. What they did in Karabakh, they want to do next in Armenia.
As for the myths about fighting to the last in Karabakh, by the way, if necessary, we will disclose that data. I am confident that this issue will unfold a lot further; we will wait for the right moment to publish documents related to the peace process for Nagorno-Karabakh. It is false; there was no such thing as fleeing or escaping," said Pashinyan.
Next, responding to questions, Pashinyan added, "I did not say and am not saying that Artsakh residents have fled, I am saying that the elite of Karabakh has fled. I do not blame the people of Karabakh in anything, nor will I blame them."
