I Won In Court, While Russian Oligarch Samvel Karapetyan Lost: Torosyan

The First Instance Court has rejected businessman Samvel Karapetyan's lawsuit against the Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan. Minister Torosyan announced this in a video posted on his Facebook page.

“Dear compatriots, you will remember that the Russian oligarch Samvel Karapetyan had sued me, trying to compel me to apologize for certain insults and defamation concerning a statement I made from the parliamentary podium, essentially trying to silence me, which, of course, has not succeeded and will not succeed,” Torosyan said. “The First Instance Court has fully rejected that claim, and I have won in court, while the Russian oligarch Samvel Karapetyan has lost,” he added.

It is noteworthy that in July 2025, Samvel Karapetyan filed a lawsuit demanding that Arsen Torosyan apologize from the parliamentary podium for insults and defamation directed at him.
