Mandatory Insurance Proposal for Mopeds, Tricycles, and Quadricycles Discussed in Parliament

The permanent commission on defense and security issues of the National Assembly has discussed, in its latest session, the draft law aimed at amending the law on mandatory insurance for liabilities arising from the use of motor vehicles. This proposal suggests that mopeds, tricycles, and quadricycles should also be included in the mandatory insurance framework.

It is worth noting that Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Armen Ghazaryan, stated that the draft has not undergone any changes since its first reading.

The draft has received a positive conclusion from the committee.
