Torosyan on His €7,000 Bicycle

Before becoming an official, I earned a much higher salary than after becoming a minister. This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan during a press briefing, in response to a question about purchasing a bicycle worth €7,000.

"The amount for my bicycle is written in my declaration. I am pleased that in 2026, the Minister of the Republic of Armenia can be accused of owning a bicycle, including one that costs €7,000. There’s no need to take it so seriously, dear colleagues," he noted.
