Two Oligarchs to Join Kocharian, Says Taron Chakhoyan

The Deputy Head of the Office of the Prime Minister, Taron Chakhoyan, addressed the upcoming elections and the candidacy of Robert Kocharian for Prime Minister from the "Armenia" alliance on his Facebook page.

"Kocharian is not just the candidate for Prime Minister from the 'Armenia' alliance, but he is also the candidate for the entire opposition. Two oligarchs will join Kocharian, as a Russian oligarch cannot be a Prime Minister, and a local one does not want to. Let me remind you that none of the opposition forces have denied the scenario of joining Kocharian after the elections and appointing him as Prime Minister," Chakhoyan wrote.

It is worth noting that Robert Kocharian and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) have decided to continue their cooperation and will participate in the upcoming elections together as the "Armenia" alliance. Robert Kocharian is the candidate for Prime Minister from the "Armenia" alliance.
