Trump Calls on Arab Countries: What to Expect for Iran

US President Donald Trump believes that Arab states should join the military actions of the US and Israel against Iran. He stated this in an interview with C14 television channel.

“In order for the Strait of Hormuz to remain open, the answer is yes, they must join,” the outlet quoted the American leader's words regarding Arab countries.

According to the US president, those countries that depend on oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz “must actively participate” in the fight against Iran.

The television outlet noted that the White House leader did not respond to the question of whether Washington could carry out military actions against the Shiite Hezbollah organization or the Yemeni rebel Ansar Allah (Houthis) movement.

“I cannot answer that question at this moment,” the publication quoted the words of Washington's administration head.

It should be recalled that on February 28, the US and Israel initiated military operations against Iran. Strikes were carried out on major cities in the country, including Tehran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced a widespread retaliatory operation against Israel. Strikes were also launched on American targets in Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Syria.
