The Office of the First President of Armenia Issues Statement: Power Cut to Levon Ter-Petrosyan's Residence and Office
As of 13:00 on March 15, the residence and office of the First President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, have been deprived of electricity. This was announced by the office of the First President.
“Naturally, the water supply has also been disrupted. Dozens of calls from the President's security team to the electricity distribution company (EDC) were met with responses like, 'We will reconnect in an hour.' Hours have passed, yet nothing has changed. Meanwhile, almost all the houses and buildings surrounding the residence are illuminated. What does this ongoing act of malice towards the President signify? Only one thing: this power cut has undoubtedly occurred on the orders of a high-ranking official. The EDC would not dare to engage in such an act of disgrace without instruction. Furthermore, as of now, power and water supply to the President's residence and office have not been restored.
This is not just an ordinary accident, but a continuing manifestation of sadism directed at the First President and his family,” stated the message released by Avetis Avagyan.
