Lavrov on Plans by Certain Countries to Quickly Conquer Iran

Countries that planned to conquer Iran in a single day have begun to realize how mistaken they were. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a joint press conference with the Kenyan Foreign Minister.

According to Lavrov, some countries assumed they could achieve their goals and establish control over Iran within a few hours or a single day. He assessed that such calculations have not been justified.

The Russian Foreign Minister noted that it is now becoming clear how incorrect those evaluations were. He emphasized that the developments in the situation demonstrate the unrealistic nature of such plans.

The statement was made during a press conference held in Moscow after meeting with the Kenyan Foreign Minister.
