Israeli Defense Minister Issues 'Tough' Statements

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has issued tough statements regarding the Iranian leadership in light of the escalating tensions in the region. According to him, Iranian officials are "hiding in tunnels" and issuing orders for actions from there.

Katz claims that under these orders, attacks are being carried out against Israeli civilians and other targets in the region. He compared the current Iranian leadership's methods to those of the Hamas movement.

The Israeli Defense Minister also stated that the number of casualties in Iran could be significant, noting that this information is not being fully disclosed due to internet access restrictions in the country. He mentioned that, according to some reports, hospital morgues are overwhelmed.

Katz emphasized that Israel continues its operations, targeting what he describes as "terrorist forces" rather than the civilian population. He added that Israel will continue to strike Iran's strategic facilities in Tehran and other areas of the country, also noting that internal changes in Iran depend on the Iranian society itself.
