Armenia Recovers $773 Million in Assets and Funds: Prosecutor's Office
The Prosecutor's Office has conducted an analysis concerning the return of assets and funds to the Republic of Armenia and its communities from 2018 to 2025. This analysis includes criminal proceedings, completed court cases, lawsuits for the protection of public and community interests, settlements, and prosecutorial actions. Additionally, since 2023, the framework for confiscating illegally obtained assets has been applied. This information comes from the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia.
According to the reported figures, approximately 291 billion 726 million drams (about $773 million) in assets and funds have been returned to the Republic of Armenia and its communities between 2018 and 2025. Of this amount, 65.8% or around 193 billion drams (approximately $504 million) pertains to returns in the years 2023-2025.
