Trump on Putin's Reaction

US President Donald Trump's statement regarding the start of American military operations against Iran has left an impression on Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump discussed this during a Republican Party conference in Florida.

According to him, the topic of the operations was addressed during a phone conversation between the two leaders. Trump noted that Putin was greatly impressed by the actions carried out by the US armed forces, emphasizing that "no one has seen anything like this before."

At the same time, the US president acknowledged that Iran has a strong and well-armed military, but added that he is confident in the superiority of American weapons and the US armed forces.

Russia's presidential aide Yuri Ushakov had previously reported that Putin and Trump held a phone conversation lasting around an hour. The call was initiated by the American side, with the main topics of discussion concerning the current international situation. Earlier, Putin also informed about the advancement of Russian troops in the area of military operations taking place in Ukraine.
