Hovik Abrahamyan's Brother Summoned by the Prosecutor General's Office
Former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan's brother, former National Assembly member Henrik Abrahamyan, has been summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office on March 9 at 14:30. He is expected to provide a position regarding the legality of his property in connection with ongoing investigations into the confiscation of illegally obtained assets.
According to reports, a notification states: "Guided by Articles 16 and 17 of the Law on the Confiscation of Illegally Obtained Assets, I inform you that an investigation has been conducted regarding the property belonging to you at the Department of Confiscation of Illegally Obtained Assets of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia, resulting in a summary being prepared. You have the right to present yourself at the Department of Confiscation of Illegally Obtained Assets of the Prosecutor General's Office (address: Yerevan, Tigran Metz Ave. 50) within one month from the receipt of this notification to familiarize yourself with the materials of the case, provide your position, and submit a declaration."
As part of the same investigation, Henrik Abrahamyan's wife, Rouzanna Hovsepyan, their son Hovhannes Abrahamyan, and other related individuals have also been summoned to the prosecutor’s office.
