Shots Fired in Yerevan: Criminal Proceedings Initiated

Shots were fired in Yerevan. Around 06:30, operational information was received by the main department of criminal police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Yerevan criminal department regarding gunfire on Viktor Hambardzumyan Street in the Arabkir administrative district, with reports of injuries.

“Criminal proceedings have been initiated under part 1 of Article 44-155 of the Criminal Code (attempted murder) and part 1 of Article 335 (illegal circulation of firearms, their main components, military munitions, and other materials, devices, and objects). An investigation is underway,” the agency informed.
