“I’m Going to Enjoy Life with My Snow Maiden”: Father Steals Money from Home and Disappears, Criminal Proceedings Initiated

Days ago, we reported an extraordinary incident that occurred in Yerevan. Information was received at the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that a robbery had taken place in the home of 38-year-old Artak K., a resident of Yerevan. The perpetrator was his 64-year-old father, who allegedly stole 42 million AMD from the apartment. He left home on December 30 of last year and has not returned since, but left a note saying, “I’m going to enjoy life with my Snow Maiden.”

Additionally, according to SHAMSHYAN.com, the son reported to the criminal police of Yerevan that his father secretly stole 42 million AMD from their home and has since left and is not in contact with them.

Auroranews.am contacted the Investigative Committee of Armenia, and they informed us that “Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the incident under Article 254, Part 3, Clause 4 of the Criminal Code (theft in particularly large amounts). An investigation is ongoing,” the agency stated.
