Azerbaijan is withdrawing its entire diplomatic staff from Iran. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. According to him, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has decided to completely withdraw the diplomatic personnel from Iran.

“This process applies to both the embassy in Tehran and the consulate general in Tabriz. Work is currently underway in this direction,” said the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister.

Bayramov added that considering the ongoing developments, the lives of people should not be put at risk. “Currently, preparatory work is being done to evacuate the embassy and the consulate general,” noted Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
