Iran Responds to Azerbaijan's Statements

The Islamic Republic of Iran has announced that its armed forces did not launch a drone towards the Republic of Azerbaijan. This was stated in a declaration released by Iran's military authorities.

The message emphasizes that Tehran respects the sovereignty of all states, especially neighboring and Muslim countries. The Iranian side has attributed the responsibility for the incident to Israel, noting that such actions aim to disrupt relations between Muslim countries in various ways and place the blame on Iran.

It is also mentioned that on February 28, the US and Israel initiated military operations against Iran. Strikes have been reported in several cities, including Tehran. The White House has announced that the actions were prompted by alleged missile and nuclear threats emanating from Iran. Following the strikes, reports indicate that several high-ranking Iranian officials were killed.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has announced a response involving extensive operations targeting sites within Israel. Attacks have also been recorded against American facilities located in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that two drones launched from Iranian territory had fallen near the Nakhchivan airport. The incident resulted in damage to the airport building, injuring two individuals. Baku has stated that it reserves the right to take retaliatory measures.
