Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Condemns Iran's Attack: Ambassador Summoned for Action

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the drone attack carried out from Iranian territory against its own territory. This is stated in a statement issued by the ministry.

Baku emphasizes that such actions contradict the norms and principles of international law, contributing to increased tension in the region. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has called on the Islamic Republic of Iran to clarify the incident as soon as possible.

The statement notes that Azerbaijan is awaiting an official explanation from Tehran and demands that necessary and immediate measures be taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.

At the same time, the Azerbaijani side has noted that it retains the right to take appropriate retaliatory measures.
