One Million People Left Armenia Permanently During the First Three Presidents' Tenure: Konyan

We are concerned about the fate of our country, and we will not allow our nation to fall once again into the hands of predatory rulers, those who for decades have plundered the people like bloodthirsty wolves, accumulating hundreds of millions of dollars in wealth, dispossessing people and causing emigration, who have emptied the Republic of Armenia. This was stated by Hayk Konyan, the leader of the "Civil Contract" faction in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, during a parliamentary briefing.

“One million people left Armenia permanently during the tenure of the first three presidents. We will not allow those circles to return to power,” Konyan said.

In response to a clarifying question about how they will prevent this, he answered that they will do so by following a democratic path and achieving victory with the people. “The victory of the "Civil Contract" is the victory of the people of Armenia, and the people’s victory will be recorded on June 7,” Konyan emphasized.
