That Man is Rejected to Remain in History: Simonian on Sargsyan

The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, responded during a press conference with reporters regarding the opposition's statements, particularly from the Republican Party of Armenia, about street protests and impeachment, noting that elections are approaching and such calls are pointless.

"But the Republicans do not have 400 people to participate in the elections; what impeachment can they do?" Simonian added.

Regarding the accusations from Serzh Sargsyan towards the government, he suggested that Sargsyan should participate in the elections if he can.

"I regard Serzh Sargsyan as a political past. Serzh Sargsyan as a political figure does not exist in the political field and cannot have a presence. That man is rejected and will remain rejected in history," said Alen Simonian.
