18-Year-Old Athlete Recognized as Best Male Gymnast of 2025

The European champion in artistic gymnastics, Universiade winner, and double world champion among youth, Hamlet Manukyan, has been recognized as the best male gymnast of 2025. This information was shared by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia.

The 18-year-old athlete was declared the winner after a voting process on the International Gymnastics Federation's website, where he received over 1 million 30 thousand votes (51%).

Competing for the title alongside Hamlet Manukyan were Gabriel Albuquerque, the European bronze medalist in sports acrobatics from Portugal; Tofiq Aliyev, the European champion from Azerbaijan; Noë Zayfert, the Swiss bronze medalist and European runner-up in artistic gymnastics; and Luke Whitehouse, the British world silver medalist and four-time European champion in artistic gymnastics.
