Spider-Z: About the Potential Transfer to Barcelona
Eduard Spertsyan, midfielder and captain of Krasnodar, has revealed that there were previous communications with Barcelona legend Patrick Kluivert regarding a potential move to the Catalan club.
According to the player, Kluivert reached out to him while he was at Barcelona's training base and showed interest in his playing situation. During their conversation, the former Dutch forward inquired if Spertsyan could play on the left flank of the attack. After receiving a positive response, Kluivert mentioned that he would contact the club's sporting director Deco to clarify the situation, as he believed that the Catalans needed strengthening on the left side.
Spertsyan also noted that subsequent issues arose, preventing the process from progressing. He added that in case of a potential offer, Krasnodar owner Sergey Galitskiy could consider discussing his transfer if the proposed amount was between 6-8 million euros.
