There Is No Threat to Armenia: Minister Srbuhi Galyan

If the Security Council has assessed that there is currently no threat to our country's security, why deviate from the internal agenda? This was stated by Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan during a briefing, responding to a journalist's question regarding the appropriateness of conducting internal party campaigning amidst hostilities in the region.

“What should have been done to make it evident that the Government is not indifferent to what happens outside the borders of Armenia?” she noted. In response to a question about why, in addition to the Security Council's statement, the Government has not officially expressed condolences to Iran, Galyan mentioned that she is not an expert in the field: “I am not a member of the Security Council, and I do not know what has been discussed. I only know that a meeting of the Security Council was convened on both the day before and the day after those events, resulting in the statement that we have made,” the minister stated.
