Israel Begins Offensive Operation in Lebanon

The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Eyal Zamir, has announced that an offensive operation has commenced in Lebanese territory directed against the Hezbollah movement. This announcement was made during a meeting with military personnel.
