Trump on Iran's True Intentions
US President Donald Trump has stated that the Iranians were close to an agreement, but then retreated. Tehran is not ready to negotiate.
“The Iranians were close to an agreement, then they backed off... and that’s what I concluded, that they didn’t really want an agreement,” Trump said in an interview with Israeli Channel 12.
The US president also mentioned that he had a “good conversation” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding this issue.
