Torosyan Addresses Pension Recipients Without Bank Cards
Starting April 1, pensioners will receive their pensions in a non-cash manner. To organize the transition from cash to non-cash payments, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has developed a project presented by Minister Arsen Torosyan at a government meeting.
"The goal of the changes is to smoothly implement the transition from cash to non-cash payments starting April 1. We are introducing new processes that will ensure that citizens who have difficulties carrying out this process independently will not be deprived of their right to receive pensions. We plan to use postal delivery, either through postal services or bank employees, along with mechanisms to confirm delivery in the presence of a social services representative, as there are citizens who are also unable to fully engage in this process," said Arsen Torosyan.
“Everything is described. There are certain regulations that allow citizens receiving pensions on the basis of a power of attorney to continue receiving their pensions, so that no one is deprived of their right to receive pensions on April 1,” Torosyan added.
