Armenian Response to the Arrival of a 20-Person EU Group Ahead of Elections

The dispatch of a 20-person group from the European Union to Armenia does not constitute interference in the internal affairs of the Republic of Armenia. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Justice Tigran Dadunts in a conversation with reporters.

"This support is technical, expert, and legal assistance. We are ready to adopt this expertise from our EU partners, considering their best practices. The EU is also prepared to share this experience, and I don't see anything bad, problematic, or complicated in that," Tigran Dadunts told reporters.

The deputy minister does not agree that this EU support is directed against Russia. Furthermore, he points out that we should be pleased that such "established democratic system countries are ready to support us."
