CEC Issues Statement Regarding Upcoming Elections

In anticipation of the upcoming parliamentary elections, citizens with voting rights can temporarily change their registration location. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has announced this.

“Until May 26 at 14:00, citizens can apply to the Migration and Citizenship Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be temporarily removed from the voters' list at their registered location and added to the voters' list at their current electoral precinct. Applications can be submitted electronically or in paper form. Electronic applications are secured with an electronic digital signature. If applying on behalf of another person, the applicant must provide a notarized power of attorney,” the statement reads.

Citizens of the Republic of Armenia who have reached the age of 18 have the right to vote in the parliamentary elections.
