Everything is being done to disrupt the peace process in Ukraine: Zakharova

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, stated that every possible effort is being made to disrupt the peace process surrounding Ukraine. She made this comment during a broadcast on Sputnik radio, referring to the ongoing negotiations in Geneva.

According to Zakharova, various measures are being applied with the aim of obstructing the negotiations, ranging from commentary and statements to technical parameters. She emphasized that these actions are intended to prevent even the process towards resolution from taking place.

The Russian Foreign Ministry representative did not clarify who she was referring to but stressed that, in her assessment, the initiatives aimed at peaceful resolution face deliberate obstacles.
