Norwegian Skier Breaks Olympic Gold Medal Record
Norwegian skier Johannes Høsflot Klæbo has broken the Olympic gold medal record. The Norwegian team won the men's ski relay at the Olympic Games held in Italy. The team consisted of Johannes Klæbo, Emil Iversen, Martin Nyenget, and Einar Hudiegar.
The French team secured second place, finishing 22.2 seconds behind, while the Italian team took third place, trailing by 47.9 seconds. Klæbo now has his fourth gold medal from the Games held in Italy, marking the ninth of his career. This ninth gold medal is a record for the Winter Olympic Games.
Norwegian skiers Bjørn Dæhlie and Marit Bjørgen, along with their compatriot biathlete Ole Einar Bjørndalen, previously won eight gold medals.
