Vahan Kostanyan Meets with Representatives of Civil Societies of Armenia and Azerbaijan

Within the framework of the 'Bridge of Peace' initiative, a roundtable discussion is being held, during which representatives of the civil societies of Armenia and Azerbaijan have met. According to Armenpress, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahan Kostanyan attended the roundtable discussion today.

During the discussions, participants addressed the processes arising from the peace agenda established at the Washington Summit on August 8, 2025, and the role of civil society in strengthening mutual understanding and trust.

It should be noted that within the framework of the 'Bridge of Peace' initiative, a bilateral roundtable will be held, during which representatives of the civil societies of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet. In addition to the main participants of the 'Bridge of Peace' initiative, a broader group of representatives from both sides will also be involved in this roundtable.

The Azerbaijani delegation arrived in Armenia through the delineated and demarcated sections of the land border, having gone through all the relevant procedures. This is an important practical step towards strengthening trust between the two countries.
