Trump Promises Support to Orban in Elections

US President Donald Trump referred to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban as a true friend, fighter, and winner, promising his support in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Trump had already expressed his support for Orban's candidacy for Prime Minister on February 5, noting he is proud to support him in 2022.

“He will never disappoint the great people of Hungary. Viktor Orban is truly a strong leader who has already proven he can achieve phenomenal results. He tirelessly fights for his great country and people, and he loves them as much as I love the United States of America,” wrote Trump on his social media platform, Truth Social.

The parliamentary elections in Hungary are set to take place on April 12.
