Samvel Karapetyan Cannot Be Prime Minister; He Is Also a Citizen of Russia and Cyprus – Ruben Rubinyan

Samvel Karapetyan cannot be Prime Minister. This was stated by the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, during a conversation with journalists.

He pointed out that Samvel Karapetyan cannot be a candidate for Prime Minister and cannot hold the position, as he is not only a citizen of Armenia but also a citizen of Russia and Cyprus.

"It is impossible to amend the article of the Constitution if the Prime Minister has not been appointed by the President following the elections, did you know?" he added.
