In Any Case, We Will Defend Armenia's Interests: Gevorg Papoyan

If Russia is able to invest and service the system so that the cargo passes through Armenia and we gain political, economic, and security benefits from it, we have no problems with that. This was stated by the Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan in a conversation with journalists.

Papoyan noted that when the interests of Armenia are weighed against those of any friend, partner, or strategic ally, the interests of Armenia will be prioritized. "In any case, when the interests of Armenia and the USA are at stake, we will defend Armenia's interests; when the interests of Armenia and the Russian Federation are at stake, we will defend Armenia's interests," he emphasized.
