US Reconnaissance Drones near Iranian Shores
The United States military has been conducting reconnaissance flights in areas adjacent to Iran's borders. Participating in these operations are the Boeing P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine aircraft and the MQ-4C Triton reconnaissance drone.
The data has been released based on the aviation platform Flightradar24. The drone took off from the Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates and circled for several hours over the international waters of the Gulf of Oman, close to the Iranian border.
It should be noted that the MQ-4C Triton is designed for constant surveillance over large areas, providing real-time reconnaissance information in both maritime and coastal zones. The device can remain airborne for over 30 hours, reach speeds of up to 610 km/h, and fly at altitudes of up to 17,000 meters.
Currently, three American MQ-4C Triton drones are stationed at the Al Dhafra Air Base.
