Snowstorm on Goris-Shinuhayr-Harjis Highway

The Rescue Service has reported that the roads in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. The roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and the Kar lake are closed in the Aragatsotn region.

The Spitak serpentine is closed for trucks. The Vardenyats mountain pass is passable for trucks with trailers provided that chains are used.
There is snowfall in the Sisian-Zanger section. A snowstorm affects the Goris-Shinuhayr-Harjis highway.
