Order for Assassination of General Alexeyev Came from Ukraine

Order for the assassination of General Alexeyev was issued by the Security Service of Ukraine. This was reported by the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB).

According to the agency, the arrested individuals Lyubomir Korban and Viktor Vasinin have fully accepted their guilt.

The assassin was recruited by the SBU in August 2025 and underwent firearms training in a military camp in Kyiv.

The report states that Ukrainian special services promised a reward of $30,000 for the assassination of the general.
