Turkey is Our Largest Economic Neighbor, We Have the Opportunity to Open the Border: Papoyan

It is very good that Turkey is our largest neighbor economically, at least in terms of GDP, and we have the opportunity to open the border. That was stated by the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, during the annual summary press conference, as he addressed the question of under what conditions and when the border with Turkey would be opened.

"I hope that there will be positive news about this in the near future," the minister said.

It is worth noting that the Margara Bridge is already fully prepared for the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border. All conditions have been created for both customs and border services to operate effectively.
