Village Where 700 Liters of Milk Can Be Collected Daily, We Will Organize Procurement - Papoyan
Milk is currently being procured at different prices—200, 180, and 170 drams. I publicly state that in any village where 700 liters of milk can be collected daily, please call the Ministry of Economy, and we will quickly organize a procurement point in that village. This was announced by the Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan during the annual summary press conference.
“Tell me the village, the place where there is 700 liters of milk. If people want to hand over that milk in the village, and there is no procurement point, we will organize it very quickly at a minimum of 180 drams, because our producers are contacting me and asking for milk, since there is a shortage of milk in Armenia. For this reason, prices have increased compared to last year. It’s not that there is no milk, but there is not enough of it as needed. So wherever there is a village that has 700 liters of milk daily, we will quickly organize it. The producer will come and carry out their procurement,” he stated.
