NATO Secretary General's Speech Indicates Military Intervention in Ukraine: Lavrov

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte's speech at the Supreme Rada indicates that military intervention in Ukraine is being prepared, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

He reminded that Rutte, while addressing the Ukrainian parliament, announced that the security guarantees for Ukraine developed by European countries foresee automatic actions for the deployment of their troops on Ukrainian territory by a 'coalition of volunteers'—in one phase with support from European countries, particularly the United Kingdom and France, and in another phase with assistance from the United States.

‘What Rutte said in parliament, at the Supreme Rada of Ukraine, means that intervention is being prepared,’ Lavrov told journalists at a press conference following discussions with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis and the OSCE Secretary General.
