Jeffrey Epstein's Brother Claims to FBI That Financier Was Murdered on Trump's Orders
Mark Epstein, the brother of Jeffrey Epstein, has stated in a 2023 application to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that his brother was killed in prison and that, in his belief, the murder was carried out on the orders of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
"Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in his cell. I have reason to believe that he was killed because he was about to name names. I believe President Trump sanctioned this killing," Mark Epstein said in his application.
The document was released by the U.S. Department of Justice in December 2025. No official confirmations or conclusions regarding these statements have been published, and U.S. authorities have previously stated multiple times that Epstein's death was ruled a suicide.
