I Am Confident That, Apart from Ruben Vardanyan, Everyone Else Will Be Released: Aram Sarkissian

Regarding the verdict for Armenian prisoners of war held in Baku, I am confident that none of us had any hope that the Azerbaijani court would issue an acquittal. This was stated by Aram Sarkissian, the president of the Republican Party, on his social media page.

“Regardless of the severity of the verdict, I am confident and convinced that, apart from Ruben Vardanyan, whose case is on a different level and mainly relates to the Russian Federation, everyone else will be released and extradited to Armenia as a manifestation of goodwill, after the signing of the peace agreement. And God willing, that will happen,” he wrote.
