US to Establish International Coalition for Critical Minerals Extraction and Production

The United States plans to create an international coalition focused on the extraction and production of critical minerals, where fixed pricing mechanisms will be implemented. This announcement was made by US Vice President Jay D. Vance.

According to him, participating countries will agree on 'reference prices' for individual minerals and work to maintain them at stable levels. Vance noted that the initiative aims to ensure predictability and stability in the market for strategically important minerals, as well as to reduce risks in supply chains.

The US authorities believe that cooperation in this format can play a significant role in securing the necessary raw materials for high-tech, energy, and defense sectors.
