Trump Reports Discussing Ukraine and Iran with Xi Jinping

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he had a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping, during which several important international issues were discussed, including the crisis around Ukraine and the situation related to Iran. He shared this information on the Truth Social platform.

According to Trump, the conversation was lengthy and detailed, covering trade relations, military topics, his upcoming visit to China in April, the Taiwan issue, the war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as developments surrounding Iran.

Additionally, the discussions addressed China’s purchases of oil and gas from the U.S. and opportunities for the increased acquisition of American agricultural products. Trump noted that Beijing is considering increasing soybean imports by up to 20 million tons this season, while committing to purchase around 25 million tons in the next season.

The discussions also touched upon the supply of aviation engines and several other topics. In Trump's assessment, the conversation took place in a "very positive atmosphere."
