Zelensky Expects U.S. Response to Russian Strikes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Kyiv is awaiting a response from the United States regarding the strikes being carried out by Russia, particularly in light of attacks on energy infrastructure.

Zelensky noted that the initiative to halt attacks on energy facilities was initially proposed by the American side. According to him, the suggestion pertained to temporarily refraining from such strikes during diplomatic processes and in the challenging winter conditions.

The Ukrainian president pointed out that this request was personally made by U.S. President Donald Trump. Zelensky emphasized that it is crucial for Washington to respond clearly to Russia's actions and to maintain consistency in its stance given the current situation.
