Edmon Marukyan: Armenia Must Legally Protect Its Interests Before Opening Armenian-Turkish Border

I published a short video proposing that before the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, Armenia should adopt laws to protect our economy, land, property—in short, our interests. This was stated by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Bright Armenia' party.

He specifically noted: 'There was no criticism in the video; it was simply a statement of a pro-state position—a proposal and a call to action. However, after that, I was attacked on social networks by various accounts bearing Armenian names, accusing me with filthy language and spreading hate speech.'

A question arises: who are these users? I do not want to believe that there are Armenian people who, at the moment of opening the Armenia-Turkey border, want to see our state legally unprotected and vulnerable.'
