German Defense Minister Accuses Putin of Terrorizing Civilian Population of Ukraine

Boris Pistorius has accused Putin of terrorizing the civilian population of Ukraine. In an interview with RND, the German Defense Minister also expressed doubts about the Kremlin leader's willingness to engage in negotiations for a peaceful resolution, noting that he has yet to see "any signs that Russia seriously wants peace."

He stated that when the situation changes dramatically, Putin always adheres to his maximum demands and shows no willingness to compromise. During peace talks in Abu Dhabi, the Russian army bombarded Ukraine on an unprecedented scale during the war, he pointed out.

"This is no longer related to military confrontation. This is terrorism directed solely against the civilian population during winter, with temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius," the Minister emphasized.
