Second American Reconnaissance Aircraft Noticed Near Russian Borders
The U.S. Navy's Boeing P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine reconnaissance aircraft was spotted today near the Kola Peninsula, according to data obtained by RIA Novosti.
According to this information, the aircraft departed from Iceland and reached the Barents Sea. It circled around Teriberka, continued its flight along the peninsula, and disappeared from radar.
This marks the second American reconnaissance aircraft observed near Russian borders today. Reportedly, the Royal Air Force's Boeing RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft and the U.S. Air Force's Boeing P-8 Poseidon patrol aircraft also flew over the Black Sea, near the shores of Crimea and the Krasnodar region.
