Countdown Has Begun: We Did Not Strike Russian Energy Facilities Today - Zelensky

The American side has discussed the issue of refraining from attacks on energy facilities for a week. The countdown has begun this evening. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Ukraine is ready to repeat this, and we did not strike Russian energy facilities today,” said the President of Ukraine in his evening address.

Ukraine is facing a shortage of troops, and Russia is finding gaps in its defenses. This is also reported by The New York Times. It is noted that since the main forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were concentrated in the Donetsk region, the Zaporizhzhia area became vulnerable, where Russian troops achieved significant successes.

Soldiers admit there is a serious shortage of personnel; instead of the necessary 500 fighters, the battalion is actually fighting with only about 50. It is said that the goal of the fighters is not to hold every inch of territory, but to maintain enough space to prevent an escalation of battles by Russia, which would strengthen its positions in peace negotiations.
